Artwork Description:
This sculptural bull, assembled from a bicycle mask, plaster, and blue fabric, subverts the traditional iconography of the animal. Blue, a color of tranquility, replaces the agitation of red, recasting the bull not as an adversary but as a pacified yet potent figure. In dialogue with the histories of the bullfight and the Minotaur, this work proposes a new mythology of strength tempered by calm.
